Our Story

Our Story

Coaching That Fits Your Life

Colorado native, mom of an 11-year-old daughter and two cats – I’ve spent most of my life learning what it really means to build health from the inside out.

My early relationship with fitness was complicated — I was an overweight child who first chased “fitness” in unhealthy ways during high school.

After attending culinary school, I gained the weight back, and spent years cycling through extremes: over-exercising, under-eating, and trying to control my body through discipline rather than balance.

Running eventually became my outlet, and I completed 4 half marathons and 2 full marathons while working in the restaurant industry through the COVID era.

When COVID shifted everything, it also became a turning point for me.

I stepped away from restaurants and moved into fitness full time, starting with dance, spin, and group fitness instruction, then rowing.

I was honored to be nominated for Coach of the Year in my first year with Row House. Rowing also played a key role in my recovery from injury and led me toward strength training as my primary modality.

During my recovery from a labrum tear, I earned my CPT and later joined Core Progression, where I coached a wide range of clients and led group training.

I also earned my CNC, which allowed me to begin integrating nutrition coaching into my work.

Two years later — through continued growth and life transitions — I founded Grace and Grit.

It’s been a privilege to build a space where training, nutrition, and real relationships come together, and where clients can be supported through every stage of their journey.

Outside the gym, you’ll find me hiking, training, reading, spending time with my daughter, traveling to the beach... and always learning.

Meg is an excellent coach across both fitness and health. Workout plans are designed to goals and adjust to health needs while maintaining progress. Her meal plans hit macros for those of us that struggle to track numbers, while still offering interesting and varied menu options (no plain chicken/rice/broccoli here). Everything is framed in a context of a mindful approach to build long term success and staying power.

I’ve been training with her for over a year, and she’s helped me accomplish things I never thought possible. She trained me for my first marathon and is now helping me prepare for my second. She also provides meal prep, which has made staying on track with my nutrition so much easier. She’s knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely cares about her clients’ success. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their fitness and reach their goals.
